Normal is not Normal With Car Maintenance

April 24th, 2017 by

The term "normal" is determined by many different factors when it comes to the maintenance of vehicles. The vehicle's battery has an average lifespan of around four years when it is under all normal conditions. In the case of car batteries, normal means that everything happens perfectly all of the time. However, in the real world, temperatures aren't perfect all of the time for car batteries, road vibration is usually occurring, newer vehicles have higher tech computer systems, etc.. The result of all factors that play into the lifespan of the battery typically always result in a shorter lifespan. To make sure that the battery is replaced before it actually needs to be and dies, have it checked continually at an auto parts shop, or even your local maintenance shop. This will help to make sure that you know when it needs to be replaced before it's too late and you're stranded on the side of the road!
